A collaboration featuring Project Coal’s natural dyed silk threads and PYAR’s recycled brass earrings - each piece is unique.

Mismatched earrings — on one ear, the jhumka i.e. traditional South Asian earring that was a favourite among maharanis [Sanskrit: great queens] gets re-invented and features silk gima threads carefully hand dyed, with natural dyes.

Using natural colorants from the madder plant, henna leaves, alkanet root, and the bark of the gum arabia tree to arrive at an elegantly rich, earthy palette fit for a queen.
